This thing was amazing when I used it in my very first Pokemon game (Ruby) when I was 10 years old (How fitting) and it was the only thing I used really :v Now technically this is tied with Typhlosion, but because Blaziken was the first Pokemon I ever owned and raised to Lv100, it deserves this spot more. Holy hot damn, if you wanted to know which Fire type starter I preferred over Charizard, this it it. Thats why it's my #3 Favourite Starter and Favourite Water Type 7 Maybe not as well as others, but Blastoise is definitely the coolest out of them. It's a nice all-round Pokemon with one of the best types in the game and does everything you want a Water type to do. I've used it a few times now and I've never regretted it on each of them. It can take hits and hit hard right back, and the ones I've trained have even done some surprising out speeding when I needed it most. It doesn't particularly excel, but nor does it fail at what it can do. I much prefer it over Charizard for other reasons too, it like some of my other favourites is a bit of a 'Jack of All Trades, Master of None' kind of Pokemon. I mean I could've come up with a red fire breathing dragon (And so have so many others before me), but how many would've thought to take a turtle and put fucking high pressure water cannons on it's back? I certainly wouldn't have, so it's a good thing GameFreak did. Now this is what I call a Kanto starter! I dunno, Charizard feels very bland in comparison, Venusaur kind of does too but not so much. 8Įverybody step the fuck back, Blastoise is coming at you

That's why Gliscor is on this spot and also my Favourite Flying type. So it not only can break apart anything it faces it breaks the laws of physics and all things logical it's that good :v It's also cool because it's scary looking, all bat-like and has big arse pincers and it somehow weighs less than it's pre-voloution despite being twice it's size. Slap Swords Dance, Stone Edge, Acrobatics and Earthquake on 'em and you have a flying death scorpion on 'roids coming at you like a freight train (if a freight train could fly). Oh my fucking god am I glad I did, my Astrid is an absolute monster in a fight. I originally had no opinion of this Pokemon until on a whim one day I decided to start raising on in my Black game to try it out. I had a lot of competition and desperately wanted to put this in as my Favourite Ground Type (You'll see why I didn't), but it's going in as the Best Flying Type Ever Period. If you can't handle this level of awesome going on here, then just stop reading now.

That's why Metagross is my Favourite Psychic Type, and a pretty cool Steel type too c: 9 I also like it for being only one of two pseudos that isn't Dragon typed (Tyranitar is cool too, but not being a Metagross is it's main flaw), Steel isn't a type I think much of but I love Psychics and this is definitely #1 in that area.

If that doesn't get your goat, then I really don't know what would at this point :v It's a walking, meat eating (seriously) motherfucking mechanical hulk that has four brains and thinks faster than a supercomputer. Holy fucking shit this kicks arse even with mediocre IV's and sucky nature like mine has, but anyone who goes after good natures and IV's will know that this thing is the thing you find next to the word 'Tank' in the dictionary. That's because the very first one I ever used (recently) was shiny, and legit too! C: You'll notice that I used it's shiny colours instead of the normal ones. I'm so ashamed to put this at only #10 but something has to go here and Metagross is fully deserving of a slot.
